They have been together for two years. He is calm and quiet, using words sparingly. She is active and dynamic. He is Swiss, she is Ukrainian. Bohdan Hawrylyshyn: I’ll live to return to renewed Donetsk!

Nowadays, a lot of Ukrainians live abroad. Many of them have adequate standard of living, the majority have integrated successfully and fulfilled themselves in the other country. But there are only few of them who become world famous people and never forget that they are Ukrainians.

A “foreign story” of Bohdan Hawrylyshyn has begun in 1943 from the camp for displaced people. At that time, in his young years, he had to know the hunger, deadly danger, loss of loved ones. At the same time, it is then that Bohdan successfully passed his first exams for patience, working ability, addiction to knowledge. Today, we have the result: Bohdan Dmytrovych is a legendary man, a person recognized in world circles. The author of several books, inventions, forecasts of economic development of countries, the scientist with consulting experience for 70 countries, the public person, peacemaker, counsellor of the first President, several prime ministers and speakers of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The member of the Club of Rome, the founder of International Management Institute (IMI‑Kyiv) in Ukraine, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Geneva… It is impossible to list all honors of this person. Many countries of the world consider him as their citizen, but Mr Hawrylyshyn has his own view of this. The book entitled “I remain a Ukrainian”, which speaks for itself, is being prepared to be published in English. Bohdan Hawrylyshyn lives in Geneva (but he comes to Ukraine every month) and he not only adores Switzerland, but also tries to help other countries to attain the same harmony and perfection.
