Kieran Murphy has over twenty years’ experience in the global life sciences and biotechnology industry. He began his career with Janssen Pharmaceutical, a division of Johnson and Johnson, followed by leadership roles with Mallinckrodt and veterinary medicines provider Vericore. While at Novartis, Murphy led the creation of a new division focused on the development and production of vaccines. Prior to Whatman, Murphy served as CEO to UK biotechnology businesses Adprotech Ltd., ML Laboratories and Innovata plc.
Today Kieran Murphy is President and CEO of GE Healthcare’s Life Sciences division. GE Healthcare Life Sciences is a $4 billion world‑class business that provides pharmaceutical companies, government organizations and academia with a wide range of technologies and services for cell biology and protein research and for the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals such as recombinant proteins, antibodies and vaccines.
